Forget the fashion police, we need a fashion judge. Or at least a real one.

John Galliano is heading to trial in a case that could see the disgraced Dior design god behind bars.

The fired designer will go on trial on June 22 in Paris, a judge there ruled today.

Galliano is accused of hurling anti-Semitic insults at a couple at a Parisian caf--a violation of the country's strict laws barring hate speech.

If he's found guilty, Galliano could face up to six months in prison and more than $31,000 in fines.

Galliano isn't taking the accusations lying down. Despite losing his job, the feisty fashionisto has previously professed his innocence, claiming that it was the couple who verbally harassed and assaulted him and, as a result, he was suing for defamation.

Not helping Galliano's cause however is a video that surfaced online in which the designer professed his love for Adolf Hitler.
