Vince Vaughn and his wife, Kyla Weber, welcomed their second child on Wednesday, the actor's representative confirmed to People magazine.
The baby boy, who the couple named Vernon Lindsay after Vaughn's father, weighed in at 8 lbs., 4 oz. and is 21 inches long.
According to the magazine, Vernon was born at a hospital just outside of Los Angeles. In April, the Vaughns, who married in January 2010, purchased a nearly $4 million home in La Canada Flintridge, a small affluent city in Los Angeles County.
"The whole family is so excited to welcome this sweet boy into the world," a friend of the Vaughns told People. "I am sure Vince will have Vernon out on the ball field in no time!"
Vaughn first revealed that he and his wife were expecting baby No. 2 when he appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" in April.
The couple also have a daughter, Lockyln Kyla, who will turn 3 this year.
Proud papa Vaughn may have two real-life children, but in November, he will play a sperm donor who finds out he has fathered 533 children in the movie "Delivery Man." He will also star in "Anchorman: The Legend Continues," which is scheduled for a December release.
