Want to make sure "Dirty Dancing" fans have the time of their lives in a feature remake of the classic 1987 film?
Make sure original Baby actress Jennifer Grey does the casting!

As she revealed during an interview with "JustJenny" radio host Jenny Hutt, she has at least three A-list names who could fill the roles in a theoretical remake.

"I think Natalie Portman and Ryan Gosling," the 56-year-old Grey announced. "Wouldn't you like to see them? Or Channing Tatum?"
Yes, yes and yes!
There are some reservations: "I don't know if she’s young enough to play that virgin thing, but she’s so gorgeous," Grey added (and truth: Portman, who danced divinely in "Black Swan," is 35 so it might be a stretch). "She’s just the best, most beautiful, amazing — and a great dancer."

Leading men could be on the slightly older side, though. For the 35-year-old Gosling (who's about to show off his own dancing chops again in "La La Land"), "The Gos has just got something, you know what I mean? He’s just got something and he’s that very mysterious. ... "Like you look at him and you go like, 'Oh God. What would that be like?' You know what I mean?"
But if "the Gos" wasn't actually available, Grey has a backup in mind: Channing Tatum. "He dances and he's a smokeshow. ... He's a goofball and he's a genius because he's so smart. He's smart enough to not take himself seriously. He's crazy smart."

Grey said she noticed the 36-year-old's "smarts" while watching "Magic Mike."
"I was screaming and kicking. I could not believe the amount of sexual energy in his dancing. I think it's very hard to find straight men who can dance — really dance. It’s just a beautiful thing," she said.
MORE: 'Dirty Dancing' getting TV remake, Abigail Breslin set to star
Of course, there is a new "Dirty Dancing" in the works — for TV. Last year ABC announced it would feature a three-hour reboot of the movie with Abigail Breslin as Baby and Colt Prattes as Johnny, Other cast members include Katey Sagal, Debra Messing and Billy Dee Williams. (Grey passed on the remake herself.)
The reboot is slated to air later this year. Meanwhile Grey's ideal remake lineup is airing right now ... in our dreams.
