To say Matthew McConaughey is a little less than thrilled to have Ryan Phillippe as a client is probably an understatement.
That's certainly the impression we get while watching this scene from the upcoming flick The Lincoln Lawyer, which finds McConaughey playing Mickey Haller, an attorney who would clearly like to take the Lincoln Town Car he conducts business out of and use it to put Phillippe's accused rapist away permanently, if you know what we mean.
After all, in the above clip, Phillippe not only has the audacity to enter McConaughey's home unannounced, but doesn't hesitate to subtly hint at harming his daughter, either. Yeah, this so isn't going to end well.
The Lincoln Lawyer is due out March 18.
