• Fans of the books that “True Blood” is based on may be wondering if they’ll get a gander at a certain sexy shower scene between heroine Sookie and Viking vamp Eric this season. According to a spoilerific reveal from show creator Alan Ball, the answer is “sort of.” “There is a shower scene,” Ball told TV Line’s Michael Ausiello. “But it is not a direct re-enactment of the shower scene in the book. • When reality TV staple “Big Brother” returns for its new season next Thursday, it comes with brand new twist. This time around it’s all about “Double Trouble," meaning “some of the most dynamic duos from the show’s history” will be back to compete alongside eight newbies. While no details about the returning playing identities have been released, don’t be shocked if Dr. Will and Mike “Boogie” make another return to the show.

• It’s a good thing Joe Rogan scored a spot as host of “Fear Factor” once again. In an interview with TV Guide, Rogan admitted he wouldn’t like the alternative. "It doesn't seem real," he said. "It seems like some sort of bizarro dream world. But I'm looking forward to it. The idea of sitting at home and watching someone else host it would have driven me crazy."
