Lorraine Bracco will be the next star of "The Sopranos" to moonlight on a "Law & Order" drama.
Bracco, who plays mobster Tony Soprano's psychiatrist on the HBO show, has been cast as an ambitious lawyer on the upcoming "Law & Order: Trial by Jury" on NBC, a series spokeswoman said Tuesday.
Michael Imperioli, who plays a Soprano relative, is appearing in the final four episodes of "Law & Order" this season, while Robert Iler, who plays Tony Soprano's son, was on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" last year.
Edie Falco played a defense lawyer on "Law & Order" before starring in "The Sopranos."
"Law & Order: Trial by Jury," the fourth in the "Law & Order" franchise, stars Bebe Neuwirth and Jerry Orbach.
Bracco's episode will film in January; the series will debut in early 2005, but an air date has yet to be announced.
