Blake Lively's date to high-school dance has 'hover hands' in awkward photo

Most of us remember how nerve-racking high-school dances were, and it turns out even Blake Lively wasn't immune to the awkwardness.

Imgur user Schnecken shared this throwback photo of the 27-year-old actress at a formal with her date, who appears to be resting his hands slightly beyond her shoulders.

"Hover handsing a younger Blake Lively," reads the caption, referring to the stiff hand placement of Lively's companion.

Thankfully, Lively and husband Ryan Reynolds are now both photography pros, with hugely popular Instagram accounts.
