‘DWTS’ Pro Witney Carson’s Sons Help Her With Adorable Gender Reveal

The dancer is expecting her third child and currently competing on “DWTS.”

Witney Carson and husband Carson McAllister just found out the gender of baby No. 3.

In a Sept. 21 Instagram video, the “Dancing With the Stars” pro shared how she found out if her family was adding a little boy or a little girl to their crew.

The video shows the couple on a dock with their backs turned while their two sons — Kevin, 5, and Jet, 3 — picked a pink or blue bouquet of flowers, announcing the baby’s gender.

After reading the card that tells them which bouquet to grab, Kevin grabs the blue one, but Jet then picks up the pink one, confusing his parents for a second.

“It’s a boy,” Carson says, as McAllister adds, “Are we just a house full of brothers?”

“Baby McAllister number 3 is a,” the caption reads, which also includes blue hearts and teary-eyed emoji. “We couldn’t be happier or feel more blessed with all these boys. I love being a boy mom. My greatest honor in life is to raise them.”

The couple were congratulated in the comments section by friends, including Robert Irwin, who was Carson’s “DWTS” Season 34 winning partner.

“SO EXCITED,” Irwin wrote, along with a number of blue heart emoji.

“As a mom of three boys, you’ll always have a full dance card for life. It is the best,” one fan wrote, while another added, “This gets me so teary eye because raising boys to be men is such a privilege and the excitement he had when he saw it was a brother is just unbeatable.”

Carson announced that she was pregnant on Aug. 17, weeks before she was confirmed to be returning for Season 35 of “DWTS.”

In an interview with TODAY.com, the dancer shared that she and her husband knew it was time to expand their family.

“We know that we want a lot of kids and we thought it was a perfect year to start doing that,” she said. “Then this opportunity came up again to do the show, and it just felt like, ‘You know what? I kind of want to prove to myself that I can do both!’ And I love both.”

She was determined to continue working, saying she didn’t feel like she had to put work on hold.

“I don’t feel like people necessarily have to lose parts of themselves to keep growing their family. That’s kind of my mantra. I’m gonna stay true to what I love and continue on my career and continue to grow my family,” she said.” It’s a big blessing to be able to do both.”

Carson competed with partner Guillermo Rodriguez on the first night of the two-night “DWTS” Season 35 premiere. During the Sept. 15 episode, they danced a cha cha to “Mr. Big Stuff” by Jean Knight, scoring a 10 out of 30.

Though they had the lowest scores of the night, the pair escaped an elimination and are gearing up for their second dance on the Sept. 22 episode.

Carson told TODAY.com that she was “feeling good” and during rehearsals was listening to her body, making sure her baby’s healthy.

“As much as I want to dance and want to do all of it, I really have to be careful to make sure that I don’t overdo it,” she said. “It’s perfectly safe to do all the things and I’m really not taking this any differently than I would any other season as far as mentally and physically.”
