The SoHo loft where Heath Ledger was staying when he died has been for sale on the down low for a week. It can be yours for a cool $5 million.
Ledger, who tragically died in the lower Manhattan apartment in early 2008, had been crashing at the place, which at the time was rumored to have belonged to Mary-Kate Olsen. (It didn't.)
In any case, realtors have done their fighting best to rid the place of any residual grimness. So, what's it look like now?

Pretty good, actually. The 4,400-square-foot residence at the ever swanky 421 Broome Street building has been completely gut-renovated, though it isn't completed yet and still needs much rebuilding. Not that you could tell from the pictures.

For nearly a week, the unit has been open to potential buyers and is expected to be officially placed on for-sale lists within days. As befitting its seven-figure pricetag, the apartment is one of an elite few in the 1920s cast iron loft building.
Regardless, whoever ends up buying the pad will have quite a story to tell about their new digs. Not to mention, quite a bank account to back it up.
