From flash mobs to flash-mob proposals and flash-mob wedding dances, we'd almost seen it all. That is, until we saw a flash wedding.

Brian Green surprised his now-wife, Christina McGinnis, with a flash-mob wedding near their Georgia home just before Christmas. The duo, who had been engaged since 2013 and have a 23-month-old daughter named Aspen, told WXIA that they had tried to plan their wedding a few times, but McGinnis said it was too overwhelming.

So Green developed a plan —he would surprise his bride-to-be with the flash wedding.

"The wedding is just a ceremony; the marriage is what is important," Green said. "That's what I was trying to get to, to focus on the marriage."

The bride was asked by a photographer friend to pose for a wedding shoot, which would involve wearing her wedding gown with full hair and makeup.

In the video, produced by Green's brother, you can see McGinnis walking through the mall, excited for the "photo shoot," only to learn from her father that she'll actually be getting married. The full ceremony took place in front of a giant Christmas tree at the Mall of Georgia.

"I didn't have a clue," McGinnis told WXIA. "Not one clue."
