Before you get in the car, plane or train for your next trip, you might want to stock up on a few of the latest travel gadgets. Steve Santagati, an editor at Men's Journal magazine, was invited on the “Today” show to talk about a few gadgets to make the journey just as fun as the destination.

Samsung SC-X105 SportsCam
I’ve been in adventure television for years and have used this kind of camera for everything from motocross to whitewater rapids. It was never available for consumer use, but now it is and, trust me, you'll have a great time with this. It has two lenses: one on the camera and one for a remote location. The remote lens has a 2.5-inch cable, and you can buy an even longer extension. The camera records onto a memory chip and holds about 34 minutes of footage. You can also add a memory stick to get longer recording time. The camera is water-resistant and easily attaches to your computer for editing. Remember Katie’s purse cam? Now almost everyone can have something just like it.Price: $600

Kodak Easy Share Z740 Camera-Printer Dock Plus Package
Along with a very easy-to-use 5-megapixel digital camera, you'll get a full printing dock with paper. You don't need to have a computer. The printer allows you to print your pictures anywhere in 90 seconds or less. With this camera, you can also easily share your pictures via the Internet with Kodak software. Price: $500

Apple iPod Photo and Apple iPod Shuffle
The iPod Photo has 30 gigabytes and holds approximately 7,500 songs or 25,000 photos, or any realistic combination of the two. The new features allow you to download photos directly from your camera as well.  If you just want some music and not a whole iPod, the iPod shuffle holds about 128 songs and is very portable — it's tiny!  With the right adapters, the iPod can be docked anywhere in the home or car. Price: iPod Photo, $349; iPod Shuffle, $99

Pioneer Airwave
This pocket-size satellite radio can pick up 68 music channels and an additional 50-plus channels of news, weather and talk. It also records up to five hours of music in case you can’t get a signal, like in a plane or on a train. This works with a docking station in the car or home, so you're never without your XM satellite stations and get the full value from your membership.Price: $350

Sony PSP
This is the latest in play-station electronics, and it's coming at the end of March. If you love playing video games, this is the best portable gaming system to buy. It plays games, movies and music and can connect wirelessly to up to 16 other units, meaning you and your friends can battle each other throughout the trip.Price: $250

Blackberry 7100T
This toy is for the more responsible adult who wants to stay connected. You can keep in touch, call a friend, go online to get directions — whatever you need. The phone has a speaker system, which is perfect while you're driving or washing dishes or folding the laundry. This phone does just about everything for you except cook.Price: $300
