Teens who binge watch HGTV design shows and love flipping through mom's stack of glossy home and design magazines now have a decor magazine to call their own. J-14 Decorate, a spin-off of the popular teen celebrity title J-14, is packed with pin-worthy ideas for younger generations who have a passion for interior design.

The launch issue features features 17-year-old Brec Bassinger, star of Nickelodeon’s “Bella and the Bulldogs,” on the cover.

Inside, the magazine is full of reader and celebrity bedroom makeovers (including Bassinger’s), design trends to try, affordable home decor items, style quizzes and more. There are also inexpensive DIY projects featuring everyday products. In the debut issue, readers learn how a simple hula hoop can be quickly transformed into a unique photo display, jewelry holder, and a hanging chandelier.

The debut issue also features removable art, including 17 gallery wall images and celeb pictures that can be cut out and framed. Readers of the launch issue also have a chance to win a $1,000 bedroom makeover.

"When their favorite celebrity posts a Instagram photo or YouTube video in their cool, perfectly-decorated bedroom, teens want the same bedding or trendy piece of artwork on the wall," Brittany Galla, editorial director of Bauer Media Group USA’s youth division, told TODAY Home. "J-14 Decorate aims to give them an opportunity for them to do just that — make their room trendy, but do-able on a teen-friendly budget."

And just as adults look to Joanna Gaines or Jonathan Scott for design inspiration, this new mag could be the answer for aspiring decorators who are younger. "HGTV shows are also really popular with our readers," Galla said. "Many watch [Fixer Upper] with their moms and post on Instagram about loving — and crushing on — the Property Brothers. While teens have always wanted to have a cool, unique bedroom, I think the spike of these new HGTV shows plus more celebs showing their rooms on their social media pages have certainly led to more interest in decorating ideas."

J-14 Decorate will be published six times a year. The summer issue is on newsstands now.
