On Friday, we announced that Jenna Wolfe will be taking on a new role as TODAY's first ever lifestyle and fitness correspondent, also serving as NBC news national correspondent.

"It's tailor-made for me," Wolfe said Saturday. "It's what I love. It's what I eat, sleep, drink, think about all the time, so this will be really great for me."

Dylan Dryer took Wolfe to the Orange Room to share some of the many congratulations and well wishes from fans on Twitter:

While the role will mean no more full-time weekends for Wolfe, TODAY's Erica Hill jokingly promised that Wolfe won't miss out on the early weekend call times.

Wolfe will start her new role as a lifestyle and fitness correspondent after next weekend.
