When I was growing up in the '70s, I loved watching "The Carol Burnett Show," which debuted on CBS in 1967 and ran for 11 years. I used to watch it with my grandmother, and I thought it was the funniest thing ever. I even once wrote to Bob Mackie, Burnett's costume designer, telling him if any of those sparkly dresses she wore needed a new home, there was a little girl in Vermont happy to take them off his hands. I didn't get a dress, but I did get a very nice letter from him and a signed 8x10 glossy of Burnett in one of those splashy outfits.

Why am I telling you all this? Because on Tuesday, several sets of DVDs, all featuring the classic sketches from the show, are being released. Burnett herself will be on TODAY Monday to talk about her memories of the variety show.

During its run, the show received 25 Emmy Awards and five Golden Globes, making it one of the most honored programs in television history. The show, which also starred Tim Conway, Lyle Waggoner, Harvey Korman and Vicki Lawrence, featured the now classic sketch "Went with the Wind," "The Family," "Tudball & Wiggins" and other characters.

So tell us, what was your favorite sketch on the show? Do you have a question for Carol Burnett? Tell us in the comments below and tune in to TODAY Monday to catch her on the show.
