Transforming a little girl's hair into a big-deal 'do isn't easy, but single father Philippe Morgese taught himself how navigate tangles, pitch the perfect ponytail and create intricate braids.
Now, with the help of his daughter Emma, he's teaching other fathers the secret to his success with Dad Hair School.
In a new series of videos for the Babble YouTube channel, Morgese shares all the basics.

"It's not just about beauty," he tells viewers. "It's about bonding."
(But, adds Emma, "Of course, beauty is also kind of important for me.")
Well, there's nothing to worry about there. Dad's got that covered with impressive styles.
He's also just as skilled in the art of dad jokes. When Emma tells him she'd like "a ponytail and a braid," he deadpans, "I heard 'a Mohawk,' so that's what we're going to go with!"

But while father and daughter clearly have fun throughout the tutorials, this is also serious business for Morgese, who also teaches other fathers offline with his Daddy Daughter Hair Factory classes.
