Cava Sangria

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup white grape juice
  • 2 tablespoon licor 43* or tuaca
  • 2 tablespoon brandy
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon 750-ml bottle chilled cava
  • 1/2 cup sliced strawberries
  • 12 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 12 cup Ice cubes

Preparation

Baking Directions:

Mix first four ingredients in pitcher until sugar dissolves.

Mix in cava, berries, and mint.

Fill glasses with ice.

Ladle sangria over ice and serve.

Tips:

Licor 43: An herbaceous Spanish liqueur with notes of vanilla and orange; available at most liquor stores.

If unavailable, it can be omitted.
