Little Clara joins big sister Penelope Joan, 3.

Chlumsky, who plays White House chief of staff Amy Brookheimer on the critically acclaimed HBO comedy, revealed the news of her pregnancy this past April during a Facebook chat with Travel + Leisure magazine.

The 35-year-old actress, who married So in 2008, later stopped by the TODAY show to talk with Kathie Lee and Hoda about her expected bundle of joy, and how well Penelope had been handling the idea of being a big sister.

"She's excited, so I'll take it because I'm sure it won't last all the time," said Chlumksy, chuckling.

The actress, who first rose to fame at age 11 when she starred opposite Macaulay Culkin in 1991's "My Girl," has been candid about how much she's learned about motherhood since giving birth to Penelope.

"This whole thing has taught me that motherhood has a wealth of definitions and identities," she told People in 2015. "There's no one way to be a mom or one way to be a 'good' mom."

"Does it feel like what I saw on TV growing up?" asked the former child star. "Not really, but that’s what’s cool about it.”

Congratulations, Anna and Shaun!
