Naked truth: Red Hot Chili Peppers in Carpool Karaoke is almost too much fun

When you take the Red Hot Chili Peppers around their hometown of L.A. and start singing, one thing is sure: Clothes will be shed.

If you're going to stuff the Red Hot Chili Peppers into a car with "The Late Late Show's" James Corden for a round of Carpool Karaoke, don't be surprised when clothes get shed!

In the latest round of one of late night's most delightful segments, Corden piled the four Peppers into his car — while they were still fully clothed — and took them for a ride through their hometown of Los Angeles. (Warning: There's some salty language, only partially beeped.)

Anthony Kiedis, Flea, Chad Smith and Josh Klinghoffer were red hot and game to sing and play along, adding in some slap-bass and wrestling (they got out of the car for that one). They shared stories (Smith told one about two men fighting with their prosthetic legs at a festival in the Netherlands; it also turned out that Cher once baby-sat Kiedis).

Meanwhile, the gang ran through hits like "Give It Away" (in which they discussed the somewhat racy lyrics), "Californication," "Under the Bridge" and "Can't Stop."

Our favorite moment? When Flea launched into "Food, Glorious Food" from the 1968 musical "Oliver!"

And at some point, the shirts come off! (It's kind of obligatory, if you know the Peppers, though they don't always stop with the shirts.) And, of course, Corden also joined in. Brave man.
