"Gilmore Girls" fans have been eagerly hoping for the cast to reunite for a movie — but Wednesday night, they got a different kind of performance.

Lauren Graham joined Andy Cohen on "Watch What Happens Live" to reprise her role as single mom Lorelai for a hilarious re-enactment of a scene from the beloved series' first season.

Cohen gamely donned a brunette wig to play Lorelai's teenage daughter, Rory. The host got to show off his acting chops in the dramatic exchange, in which Lorelai reprimands Rory for staying out all night with her boyfriend Dean.

The segment was part of Cohen's recurring "Clubhouse Playhouse" series, which has also paid tribute to "Notting Hill" and "Legally Blonde."

"Gilmore Girls" nostalgia has been building, thanks to much of the cast's participation in a recent panel discussion at the ATX Television Festival in Austin, Texas.

Before the event, TODAY caught up with Graham and co-stars Alexis Bledel, Scott Patterson, Jared Padalecki and Kelly Bishop for an exclusive chat, which addressed rumors of a possible onscreen reunion.

"I'm all in. I mean, absolutely all in," said Patterson, who played Lorelai's love interest Luke Danes.

Graham added, "There's nothing standing in our way. There's, for sure, willingness."

During the panel earlier this month, "Gilmore Girls" creator Amy Sherman-Palladino said there was nothing in the works at the moment, but hinted that a reunion project isn't entirely out of the question.

"Here's the good thing: Nobody here hates each other. It would have to be the right everything — the right format, the right timing. It would have to be honored in a certain way," she said.
