It's been 19 years since "The Craft" inspired teen girls to dye their hair black and dabble in a little after-school witchcraft. But a whole new generation of would-be goths will soon get a chance to chant, "Now is the time. This is the hour. Ours is the magic. Ours is the power."

Yes, "The Craft" is coming back!

The Hollywood Reporter revealed that rising horror director Leigh Janiak, who was behind last year's "Honeymoon" and the soon-to-debut "Scream" series for MTV, will write and direct the remake for Sony.

No word yet on when the film will hit theaters.

The original tale of teen sorcery, starring Robin Tunney, Neve Campbell, Fairuza Balk and Rachel True, debuted in 1996 and went on to become an endlessly quotable cult classic.

Of course, "The Craft" is just the latest flick to get a '10s facelift. From "The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" to "Poltergeist," everything old is new again — and nothing's sacred.

That last point is a problem where faithful "Craft" fans are concerned.

Maybe "now [isn't] the time" after all. Then again, some are keeping their minds open (and their spellbooks closed) for now.
