In any case, while not every member of the staff is cripplingly smitten with felines, when I stumbled upon a gallery of “Famous Paintings Improved by Cats” (courtesy of the endearingly strange humor site Sad and Useless), I felt obligated to share it with some of my cat-fancying colleagues. After a round of rapturous gasping, it was decided that we should, in turn, share this inspired splendor with you, our readers. While the sight of these furry re-renderings might have caused Rembrandt, Botticelli, Monet and their esteemed peers to cough up hairballs of their own, we thought you might enjoy them.
