As TODAY Style Editor Bobbie Thomas pursues her dream of conquering infertility to have a child, she's sharing her IVF journey with the world in the hopes it will help other women feel not so alone.

Right now she's in the midst of the two-week wait (2WW in trying-to-conceive lingo: Click here for Bobbie's guide to IVF abbreviations, from POAS to BFP). After having an embryo transferred, she's waiting to find out if she's actually got a viable pregnancy. The morning of the embryo transfer, she got some bad news: One of the two frozen embryos her doctor was planning to transfer did not survive the thawing process. In this video diary entry recorded the morning of the transfer, Bobbie explains what she's going through.

"It's consuming," Bobbie says. "If you know someone, or if you've gone through IVF, it does consume a big chunk of your life while you're trying to just be you and live your life. It means the world to me, that people have been so kind to offer advice, tips, tricks and ideas. ... Your prayers are welcome."
