Accused killer Tate and "gifted" 10-year-old Bo are still on the run in the new episode of "Believe" this week, but the unlikely duo are growing closer.

In a clip that NBC is sharing first with TODAY.com, the pair — played by Jake McLaughlin and Johnny Sequoyah — are bonding on the streets of New York as they try to stay under the radar while an Amber Alert is out for Bo, and Tate is a wanted fugitive.

In a magical moment of the non-supernatural sort, Tate playfully teases the little girl about being in awe of everything in the big city. The two still have no idea that they're father and daughter, but with this chemistry, it can't take too much longer.

This week's episode, titled "Origin," will also feature Shohreh Aghdashloo (you may recognize her from "Grimm") as a wealthy woman who is still mourning her son.

"Believe" airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on NBC.
