It’s been a little more than three months since the Jesse James cheating scandal broke, and now sources say that James and wife Sandra Bullock are on speaking terms again.
Although a source close to Bullock told me that the actress, who has filed for divorce, “does not intend on getting back together with James,” the source noted, “They are speaking and they are cordial.”
James’ upcoming move to Austin, Texas, where Bullock has a home, is attributable to their cordial relationship.
“Jesse would not relocate his family (Chandler, 15; Jesse Jr. 12; Sunny, 6) to Austin without consulting with her,” according to a source who spoke to Us Weekly. “This has been in the works for a while. Austin is Sandra; it is not him.”
Cruise and Diaz don’t need scripts “Knight and Day” director James Mangold loved the chemistry on set between Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz so much that he let them ad lib some scenes.
One example: the café scene that made its way into the movie’s trailers. When Diaz decided to ad lib her character June Haven’s lines and start whispering to her ex-boyfriend that Roy Miller (Cruise) was the man she was scared of, Cruise took her cue and played off her words.
“It all came about just working the scene until we got to this, I think, iconic part of the movie,” Mangold said to TODAYshow.com. “It’s where the movie really spread its wings, and you really feel this great vibe between the two actors.”
The director, best known for “Walk the Line,” said that it was mostly due to Cruise’s versatility and acting ability that the actors were able to keep that easygoing natural vibe. “I feel like he’s one of the bold leading men we have,” he said. “Seth Rogen will never be the next Tom Cruise. But, I could be completely wrong.”

The New York Post reports that when the issue comes out, the muscled machos will appear under the banner “Queer Issue,” and under the headline “The Guido Ideal.” The accompanying story is “about gay Jersey guidos on the down-low,” according to a source who spoke to the Post. That source also said in no place does the paper say the “Jersey Shore” guys are gay.
MTV didn’t respond to requests for comment.
