It's official! Former Pussycat Doll , "Dancing With the Stars" champ and U.K. "X Factor" guest judge Nicole Scherzinger has signed on to host Simon Cowell's upcoming U.S. version of the singing competition. But she won't be doing it alone. British TV personality Steve Jones will join her as co-host, Fox announced Saturday.
"These two are going to be great together," said Cowell. "I have always wanted Steve to work with us; I think he is a real star. Nicole is fantastic. I loved working with her on the U.K. 'X Factor' last year. She is gorgeous and super-talented."
Jones is a former model who moved on to hosting some of the U.K.'s biggest TV shows.
L.A. Reid, Cheryl Cole and Cowell will be the judges of the competition, which is searching for the next big music star, be it a solo artist or group. There are also rumors that Paula Abdul could team up with Cowell again to be the fourth judge.
"X Factor" debuts on Fox this fall.
