Shortly after “Dancing With the Stars’” most dissatisfied dancers, soccer star Hope Solo and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy, took their final bow Tuesday night, judge Carrie Ann Inaba took to Twitter to make a post-ballroom boot statement about “haters.”

“Life is too short to worry about what haters have to say,” Inaba wrote on the heels on her recent back-and-forth with Chmerkovskiy.

“There will always be haters,” she continued. “And it's not my job to please the displeased.”

Whether the jab was intended just for Chmerkovskiy or meant to be shared with Solo is uncertain. Heck, it’s even possible Inaba didn’t intend to aim it at either of them, but after the results show featured the pro and Solo making bleeped comments about the “Dancing” panel, that sure seems unlikely.

There’s been no return fire from the dancers — at least not yet. Ballroom’s bad boy has remained oddly tight-lipped since the elimination, and according to UsMagazine.com, a teary Solo refused the opportunity to speak to the press after the show, save for one TV interview.

What do you think of Carrie Ann’s comment? And what about Hope Solo’s decision to stay silent? Share your thoughts on our Facebook page.
