The Hof is ready to party!
David Hasselhoff has no fear in turning 60 on Tuesday. The "Baywatch" star greeted his milestone day with lots of love on Twitter.
"I wanna have sixty on the beach! Keep singing!" he joked. "Wow! Thanks for all the birthday wishes! May the Hoff be with you!"
"Party time!" he added. "60 rocks!"
And Hasselhoff has even more to celebrate: he's a got a new job lined up. The birthday boy told U.K.'s Daily Express he'll be appearing in an upcoming “Baywatch” movie, but he won't be reprising his role as Mitch Buchannon.
"I've just met the guy writing the film. I'm going to play myself," he explained. "We're trying to make it a very cool, updated version."
Hasselhoff recently revealed in an interview with Movieline that Leonardo DiCaprio auditioned to play his son on the original “Baywatch,” but Jeremy Jackson won the role.
"It was the best thing to happen to Leonardo DiCaprio," Hasselhoff said of the superstar, laughing. "I saw Leonardo DiCaprio and I said, 'You know what, that was the best thing that ever happened to you! You would have never gotten ‘Titanic' and have been this big star. You'd be like Jeremy Jackson and David, looking for work."
