I'm reading "The English Girl" now. I love series crime fiction, and Gabriel Allon -- the Israel spy and art restorer -- is one of my favorite recurring protagonists. Silva's books are smart, strong thrillers and take the reader to great locales.
'The Yonahlossee Riding Camp for Girls'

This book had great word of mouth, sounded like a terrific premise for a story, and I like giving debut authors a chance. Also, the character's surname is my mother's family name. I had to give it a read, and so glad that I did.
