  2. Boil a pot of water.
  3. When the oven reaches temperature, turn it off.
  4. Put the pot of boiling water on the bottom rack of the oven.
  5. Put a 1/2 cup of ammonia into an oven-safe bowl and place it on the top rack.
  6. Close the oven with the bowl and pot inside. Let it sit overnight.
  7. Take out the bowl and pot in the morning.
  8. Add a splash of water and a few drops of dish soap to the bowl of ammonia.
  9. Wipe down the inside of the oven, the racks and glass oven door with the ammonia/soap/water mixture and a fresh sponge.
