It was with great sadness that we reported this morning that Al Roker's mother, Isabel, passed away on Monday.
She was 73 years old and is survived by six children, 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Matt, Meredith and Chris Cimino paid tribute to her this morning. WATCH VIDEO
She loved bowling, poker and playing the slots. She also passed on her love of cooking to Al, who said that her best dish was sweet potato souffle and peas and rice.
Isabel was also very active in her church, Saint Catherine of Sienna in St. Albans, New York.
