New Year's Eve is just around the corner! Date night? House party? Big night out? Whatever your plans are, we have an outfit for you.

Style and fitness expert, Christine Bibbo Herr of NYC Pretty, visited TODAY Monday to share the perfect outfit for any occasion.

Date night

For her:

Keep it festive in metallics with this playful party skirt that’s great for any New Year's Eve date with. It’s elastic waistband keeps things super comfy (no need to be uncomfortable throughout dinner!), and is super easy to pack if you're traveling: It actually rolls up to fit in a little pouch and doesn’t wrinkle!

A simple, fitted scoop-neck top, bold statement necklace and sparkly pumps will add extra shine. Add a cool moto jacket and boots, and this fun and flirty look will work well past the holiday party season.

For him:

This handsome date is sporting something a bit more special than a basic blazer. A simple white button-down and sleek dark jeans look special when topped with a vest and festive bow tie.

Formal

If you have a formal occasion on Dec. 31 — perhaps a wedding, even — this outfit will look chic and winter-season appropriate. A long-sleeve knit top is cozy, yet perfect complementary to an all-over sequined maxi skirt.

The mix of textures and fabrics helps when pairing pieces in the same color family. A neutral blush pink top and rose gold skirt will feel right on-trend and fancy.

House party

Have a house party invite? We've got you covered!

Some sequins and shimmer with a pants look is the perfect way to look sleek and comfortable. This pleated, wide-leg pair from H&M have a high-sheen that shimmers in the light, while a sequined, sleeveless top that’s fitted around the middle will show off your shape.

If you're wearing voluminous bottoms, make sure to pair them with something tailored up top, Herr says. That way, you'll balance out the look. Then, just add a jeweled clutch and bold cuff for an extra-special touch.

Going dancing

New Year's Eve is the perfect time to dance the night away!

A fun, A-line dress always flatters. For something a bit more special, try a design with o I love an asymmetrical hemline or touch of gold. You'll be party ready in an instant!

Just add some gold sparkle heels, a cool clutch (like this beaded, geometric design) and a statement necklace to top off the look. See, one-step dressing is a cinch!
