It's been a chilly start to the summer in the United Kingdom, and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, dressed for the cool weather in one of her favorite, casual looks.
The former Kate Middleton wore dark skinny jeans, an olive jacket and lace-up combat boots during an official visit to Keswick in northern England.
She completed the look with an elegant ponytail and small earrings.
Her suede See by Chloé boots looked like the perfect stylish, yet comfortable choice for meeting and greeting members of the public.
If her chic boots look familiar, it's because they're a royal repeat. The duchess wore them earlier this year during a visit to a community garden in January.
During that appearance, she paired the boots with gray skinny jeans, a tweed jacket and a cozy turtleneck as she greeted children and volunteers at the King Henry’s Walk Garden in London.
Her earth-toned ensemble was the perfect outfit for a garden visit, which included some outdoor pizza-making with children and families.
Her look echoed an outfit she wore back in October when she visited the Sayers Croft Forest School and Wildlife Garden in London.
For that outing, the duchess wore her trusty pair of Penelope Chilvers long tassel riding boots, which she has been rocking for more than a decade.
She could easily have worn those boots again to complete her latest look, but maybe she wanted to shake up her style a bit with her edgy combat boots.
The duchess wears skinny jeans now and then for more casual royal outings, and she has clearly mastered the art of pairing skinny trousers with cute jackets and blazers.
Here’s looking forward to another year of impeccable style from the Duchess of Cambridge!
