Typically, I'm a wine drinker. But when I'm in the mood for a cocktail, I go for the caipirinha — which is perfect for sipping on the beach. Cachaça is Brazil’s signature liquor, made from a distilled sugarcane liquid. It is similar to rum, but I find cachaça to be smoother and sweeter than rum and perfect for Brazil’s most famous drink, the caipirinha, cousin to the mojito.
