Jurors in the Anna Nicole Smith drug trial have been shown a video in which the former model denies being on drugs during her controversial 2004 performance on a TV awards show.

Defense presented the video Monday in Los Angeles during their cross-examination of Larry Birkhead, the father of Smith's daughter.

Birkhead made the video with Smith days after the American Music Awards show. The video contradicts his testimony from Friday in which he acknowledged Smith was acting "loopy" and that her behavior at the show was affected by drugs.

Smith's boyfriend, Howard K. Stern, and two doctors have pleaded not guilty to conspiring to provide the former Playboy model with massive doses of opiates and sedatives.

They aren't accused of causing her 2007 overdose death.
