'Barbie Girl'? 'Hamster Dance'? TODAY anchors cop to guilty-pleasure songs

Got a song of shame? A tune you can't help but love despite its deeply uncool status? You're in good company. Spotify peeked at the playlists of U.K. subscribers and found tons of tracks tagged as vices. Got a song of shame? A tune you can't help but love despite its deeply uncool status? You're in good company. Spotify peeked at the playlists of U.K. subscribers and found tons of tracks tagged as vices. After crunching the numbers, the streaming service released a list of music's Top 10 guilty pleasures, a maddeningly irresistible collection of pop hits, corny ballads and novelty tunes.

Lou Bega's "Mambo No. 5" is guilty pleasure No. 1. Other shamefully popular tunes include Wham's "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go," Rednex's "Cotton-Eyed Joe" and Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'." (Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up" made it, too, but someone might just be Rickrolling the system.) Men and women have different weaknesses, it seems, with ladies covertly digging One Direction's "What Makes You Beautiful" and men looping "Call Me Maybe," by Carly Rae Jepsen.

Not to be outdone, TODAY's anchors fessed up to their own songs of shame:

Carson Daly: "Barbie Girl," by Aqua
"This is my jam. The minute someone walks in the room, I deny, deny, deny," he laughed.

Al Roker: Internet meme "The Hamster Dance"
"(Daughter) Leila loved this song!" he said.

Matt Lauer: "I'm Not in Love," by 10cc
"I just never figured you're so sensitive," said a surprised Savannah Guthrie.

Savannah Guthrie: "Endless Love," by Lionel Richie and Diana Ross
"Mine is cheesetastic," she said.

Tamron Hall: "Turn Down for What," by DJ Snake and Lil Jon
"Mine is like the frat boy song of the year!" she said.

But the best of the worst had to be the choice of TODAY executive producer Don Nash, who tried to hide behind a handful of papers as the anchors outed him on camera. Leo Sayer's funky falsetto "You Make Me Feel Like Dancing" is the song he can't get enough of.

"(He) plays this every single day when he's alone," Lauer joked.

Do it loud and proud, we say.
