Snoop Dogg and rock group 3 Doors Down are headlining two Super Bowl parties as part of Anheuser-Busch’s Bud Bowl.
Snoop Dogg will perform Feb. 3 at Tiger Stadium, a baseball landmark that has stood shuttered since 1999. He will be followed by 3 Doors Down the next night.
The Bud Bowl parties are invitation-only. Invitations are being given away as part of Budweiser promotions in Detroit-area bars, restaurants and clubs and through radio stations.
The concerts will be held in a “climate-controlled expo hall” on the infield.
Phil Kazer, Anheuser-Busch region vice president, said in a statement that the company is “excited to give Detroit sports fans a rare glimpse of Tiger Stadium, one of sports greatest venues, by reopening it during this historic weekend.”
