The same night that “Two and a Half Men” makes its Charlie Sheen-free debut on CBS, the show’s former main man will be the center of attention on another network.

On Tuesday morning, Comedy Central announced that Sheen will soon get the traditional Hollywood roast treatment. The event is set to take place in Los Angeles on Sept. 8, but the laughs at Sheen’s expense won’t air until Sept. 19 — just in time divert attention from Ashton Kutcher’s first appearance on “Men.”

“You could say I've been providing kindling for this roast for a while,” the guest of honor said in a statement. “It's time to light it up. It's going to be epic.”

Comedy Central exec Kent Alterman agreed, adding that the roast will be an anything-goes affair.

“Charlie has assured us that nothing will be off limits in the roast ... which scares even us,” Alterman warned.

On Sept. 19, “Two and a Half Men” will air at 9 p.m. ET, while the “Comedy Central Roast of Charlie Sheen” kicks off at 10. Will you watch either of them? Both? Tell us on our Facebook page.
