Don’t be surprised if Leonardo DiCaprio’s date for the Academy Awards is his mom, because it sounds like longtime squeeze Gisele Bundchen won’t be there.

The leggy Brazilian, who’s been strutting the catwalk at Sao Paulo Fashion Week, was asked if she would accompany her long-time squeeze to the awards show, where he’s favored by many to pick up an Oscar for his performance in “The Aviator.”

Bundchen didn’t seem too keen on the idea. “What would I do there?” she snapped, according to a source. Quips one insider: “Perhaps she was upset that her tour de force performance in ‘Taxi’ hasn’t been winning awards.”

The source adds that the model nixed rumors that she’s been tapped to be a Bond girl, but insists that the film offers have been rolling in since “Taxi.” Says the source: “She claims that she received other scripts but is not seriously considering being an actress and hasn’t read the offers yet.”

As the search goes on for the next James Bond, the buzz is that producers are looking for an unknown. One of the names that has come up, says a source, is Rory McCann, who played Crateros in “Alexander.”  . . .  Al Reynolds, a.k.a. Mr. Star Jones, is donating the aviator sunglasses he wore at the Golden Globes to a charity auction. “The bidding is already furious on these because they are the exact same as the ones Leonardo DiCaprio wore in “The Aviator,” Star Jones Reynolds wrote in an e-mail to fans.
