DJ AM was laid to rest Wednesday in a small funeral attended by former fiancée Nicole Richie and close friends Travis Barker and Joel and Benji Madden, according to a report.
Family members also were seen entering Hillside Memorial Park and Mortuary in West Los Angles for the ceremony for the celebrity deejay — real name Adam Goldstein — who died last week in New York, E! Online reports.
A memorial for Goldstein will also be held Thursday evening at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles.
“The format of the evening will be in the style of an open 12-step meeting,” reads an invite for Thursday’s memorial, which will be “a gathering to celebrate the life of our friend Adam Goldstein.”
