It's going to be a while before we know the nature of the "medical event" that triggered last week's fatal accident that left Randy "Macho Man" Savage dead.
After conducting an autopsy over the weekend, Florida's Pinellas-Pasco Medical Examiner's office confirms it will it delay its final ruling on the legendary wrestler's death until toxicology tests come back back in four-six weeks.
"The cause of death is pending and we're not going to jump until we get all the testing and results back. There were no indications of any excessive trauma or anything like that," Bill Pellan, director of investigations for the medical examiner's office, tells E! News.

Toxicology tests should reveal what substances, if any, Savage had in his system when he lost control of his vehicle.
"This is just standard procedure to make sure all labs and tests are ran before a cause of death is made," Pellan explained. "There's no indication or suggestion or allegation that there's any substances that may have been involved. It's just routine. The last thing you want to do is determine a cause of death and get toxicology back and there's something [that turns up]."
The pro grappler was behind the wheel of a 2009 Jeep Wrangler on Friday morning when, according to Florida Highway Patrol, he "may have suffered a medical event" that caused him to barrel over the concrete median and crash head-on into a tree.
The 58-year-old Savage, real name Randy Poffo, was transported to Largo Medical Center, where he later died. His wife, Lynn, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was treated for minor injuries and released from Bayfront Medical Center on Saturday afternoon.
Meanwhile, Macho Man's brother, Lanny Poffo, told TMZ that Savage will be cremated after a small service attended by family only and his ashes will then be scattered around the WWE star's favorite tree, where not long ago Randy deposited the ashes of his beloved pooch, Hercules.
"If it's good enough for Herc, it's good enough for Randy!" Lanny quoted his sibling as saying.
Lanny also said his brother didn't want a public memorial; instead, the family will have a small, private gathering to mark the Macho Man's passing.
