It was a shock to fans of “Lost,” but Ian Somerhalder knew Boone would be the first major character to die on the series.
Boone died in last night’s episode after falling from a small plane that had been stuck in a tree.
Somerhalder told “Live With Regis and Kelly” that he was in wine country drinking when he got the call that Boone was going to die. He says it “stung for about a second.”
He says it was “really nice” how they told him “your life is being ripped away from you.”
