Lindsay Lohan will likely not serve the 90 days she was sentenced to on Tuesday, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department told Access Hollywood.

Steve Whitmore, a spokesperson for the Sheriff's Department, told Access that general, non-violent females are eligible to serve just 25 percent of their sentence — which in Lohan's case would amount to around 22 days.

Whitmore noted, however, that the official number of days isn't likely to be calculated until Judge Marsha Revel, who sentenced Lohan on Tuesday for violating her DUI probation, hands down the court order.

Like Paris Hilton before her, who spent 23 days in lock up, Lohan will be held in Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, Calif., where she will be in seclusion.

Hilton too was held in seclusion, spending her sentence in a cell away from the general population.

Lohan will be kept away from the general population for her safety and the security of everyone involved in the jail, Whitmore told a group of reporters following the actress' hearing in Beverly Hills on Tuesday.

She must turn herself into the court by July 20.

Lohan will then be handed over to the Sheriff's Department, which runs the jails.

Lohan and Hilton aren't the only stars who have received substantial jail time for probation violations. While Hilton, who was originally sentenced to 45 days, and served just 23, former "24" star Kiefer Sutherland was sentenced to 48 days in jail in late 2007/early 2008, all of which the actor served.

Sutherland, who served his sentence in Glendale, Calif., received 30 days for a DUI charge and 18 for violating a pre-existing probation on a similar charge.
