After a one-year stint in Miami, the Latin Grammy Awards will return to Los Angeles on Sept. 1.

The 5th annual ceremony will take place at the Shrine Auditorium and will once again be broadcast live on CBS, organizers said Wednesday.

Additionally, the Latin Grammys will also air in about 100 countries. Nominees for the awards will be announced July 14. Two new categories — best singer/songwriter album and best Christian album (Portuguese language) — have been added to the lineup, bringing the total to 43.

Winners are voted upon by members of the Latin Recording Academy, which includes Spanish and Portuguese-speaking recording artists and professionals.

The Latin Grammys started in Los Angeles, but organizers have said the awards would travel to other cities. New York and San Juan, Puerto Rico, had also lobbied to host.
