Katy Perry can sing, dance, write music ... and give weather reports on TV?! During a Tuesday visit to Australia's morning show "Sunrise," the pop star tried her hand at playing meteorologist. It was a good (and amusing) effort, but she may want to stick with showcasing her musical talents.

Perry, who will be Down Under again later this year for her Prismatic World Tour, turned her back to the camera and proceeded to have trouble finding and pronouncing the names of several of the country's cities. Cairns became "Carns," Canberra was "Curnaberra" and Hobart was renamed Harry Potter's wizarding school, Hogwarts.

At the end, she even busted out her Pee-wee Herman impersonation to dish on Perth's temperatures.

The talented singer knew it wasn't her best performance. "If you didn't understand all this, I'm sure you have an app on your phone," she told viewers.

And later, after smoothly plugging her upcoming tour, she quipped, "If only if I could do the weather like that!"

TODAY's Al Roker had a little bit of fun Wednesday with her attempt at his profession. "Obviously, I've been doing it the wrong way!" he joked as he turned his back to the camera. "It works a lot better when Katy Perry does it like that."
