Kathie Lee is not usually a fan of technology, but she seemed to have discovered the joys of Google instant gratification Tuesday morning.
She and Hoda were discussing possible names for the freshly announced royal baby during the chat when they realized they didn't know William and Kate's last name. Naturally, they asked someone in the studio to Google it. "Someone here with a college degree, perhaps," said KLG.
Later in the hour, Kathie Lee wondered whether the Costa Concordia, the cruise ship that ran aground in Italy last January, had ever been righted or removed from the reef, and asked: "Can someone Google that as well?"
Later still, she wondered about when the theme parks on the Jersey Shore opened: "Can someone go on Google and see when that was?"
"Stop making people Google things!" said Hoda. "They have other jobs!"
KLG suggested that a dedicated Googler be installed in Studio 1A.
