Actress Kate Hudson and her husband, musician Chris Robinson, have had their first child, a boy. Ryder Russell Robinson was born Wednesday morning in Los Angeles, weighing in at eight pounds, 11 ounces.
Hudson and the former Black Crowes singer have been married since 2000.
Hudson was an Academy Award nominee for supporting actress for “Almost Famous.” She more recently appeared in “How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days” and “Le Divorce.”
She’s the daughter of actress Goldie Hawn.
