Does Kanye West even realize who he's dating? During a Wednesday night performance, the rapper went on a tirade about how he hates being a celebrity. He went on to criticize the paparazzi, PR stunts, Saturday Night Live jokes—you know, all the things that made his pregnant girlfriend Kim Kardashian a star.

"I don't know if you know there's one thing about me, but I'm not a celebrity. ... I'm a terrible, terrible celebrity," Kanye told the crowd at a secret show for Adult Swim at New York City's Roseland Ballroom.

"I'm the worst kind of celebrity ... because I only make real music," the rapper continued. "I don't want nobody coming up to me with cameras ... selling pictures to a f**king magazine ... asking me dumb f**king questions. ... I only make music that inspires you to be the best you can be, and I don't want anyone to ask anything else of me."

West may think he's "not a motherf**king celebrity," but we're guessing that Kim would beg to differ. Since dating the hip-hop star, she's been in the spotlight even more than she was before—and that's saying something. Though Kim claims that her boyfriend has taught her the value of privacy, neither of them has exactly gone into hiding.

Maybe Kanye is just feeling embarrassed about his paparazzi run-in last week. While he and Kim were dodging aggressive photographers, he walked head-first into a street sign. (Honestly, we're surprised this doesn't happen more often.)
