Friday marked Alex Trebek's 6,829th episode hosting "Jeopardy!," and it made him worthy of his own trivia question. Trebek now holds the Guinness World Record for most game shows hosted by the same presenter.

"This is special in the fact that it means I've been around for a long time," Trebek joked in a Guinness World Record interview. "I have a couple of walls now that are dedicated to certificates, awards and all kinds of important photos —significant photos — from my career that I look at every once in a while ... This one will go up alongside the others."

Trebek has hosted "Jeopardy!," currently in its 30th season, since its syndicated debut in 1984. He has never missed an episode due to illness, but did trade hosting duties with "Wheel of Fortune's" Pat Sajak for an April Fool's joke in 1997.

"Although I want to continue (hosting) for a few more years, who knows how long it will be," the game-show host said in the Guinness interview.

"Jeopardy!" airs weeknights. Check listings for local air times.
