Does Glee creator Ryan Murphy have a voodoo doll? If so, it's working.
The Kings of Leon just announced that they've been forced to postpone an international tour after drummer Nathan Followill tore his right bicep while working out and had to schedule an upcoming surgery to repair it.
So how bad is the injury?
Looks like the band will be out of commission for a while. (Maybe should have given Glee the rights to those songs after all?)
First, though, the band will perform as one of the main acts at the Coachella Music Festival on April 15. They will also play some European dates in May, June and July before Followill goes under the knife.
Following that, the boys will postpone summer shows in South Africa and Australia until the fall, to allow the durmmer the several months of rehab to fully heal from the surgery.
The rockers, up for two Grammy Awards on Feb. 13, made headlines for a battle with Murphy after they refused to allow the hit show to use their tunes for an episode. Murphy then cursed out the band, and Nathan countered on his Twitter page with some harsh words of his own.
Maybe he shouldn't have messed with the Glee club.
