Gerard Butler proved he had an admirable physique in "300" but the actor just stepped things up a notch.
In this shot, taken before a charity soccer match in Glasgow, Scotland, the 41-year-old Butler was looking like he could be Matthew McConaughey's long-lost brother, with exceedingly chiseled abs and sun-bleached hair.
If he's beginning to look more surfer than gladiator, there's a good reason. Butler's next role is in "Mavericks," a film about the famous surf spot in Northern California. Butler will play surf instructor Rick "Frosty" Hesson."
